On social media, everyone seems to be having fun, clicking photos, going places, partying, showing of their muscles. All these with some filters.
Everyone has problems even though at first it seems they don’t have any.
Let’s take an example:
A person who follows celebrities looking at the new house they bought, the money they earned may think that these celebrities are the luckiest and don’t have any problems because they have more money than they need.
Now let’s look at the opposite end.
- They probably want to be at a quiet place where people won’t disturb them.
- Their kids would get attention that they don’t need at an early age because it may make them feel entitled.
- Every small mistake they make or word they say is made public so they have to think twice before they act and can’t be their original selves
- When people try to be friends with them, they don’t if they truly like them for who they’re or just because of their fame & money
- They know the truth that they’re just acting in films with too much makeup and aren’t the real heroes people imagine them to be.
This is not to say that the profession is bad but to show you that what most people think is good may not be so good when looking at the consequences.
Money can’t solve all problems but only money problems. If you admire them for their money & fame, then you can earn money in a lot of different ways while fame is more about getting validation from people who say to you that you’re the best.
What’s the solution
Ask yourself, would I want that persons whole life or just that aspect of it? It’ll make you think about what the other person is going through and realize how better your life is.
Everyone is fighting their own battles so be nice to them and to yourself.
The part of growing up is that you realize no one is perfect and everyone is just as clueless as you.
What makes the difference is acknowledging that these challenges exist and finding a way to get what you want is possible
